Network entry criteria

GP Link is a preferred doctor programme, not an insurance company. Our focus is to supply our members with access to a network of high-quality medical practices with a fixed rate fee scale. We do not pay claims or determine eligibility and benefits. GP Link network selection is based on a number of factors such as quality, services offered, location, emergency services and reviews from patients.

Our networks are accessed by insurance companies, third-party administrators and self-funded medical plans. The below fields are mandatory:

• Be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Be listed on the General Practitioners register
• Have adequate and appropriate indemnity arrangements in place
• For practices in England and Wales to be CQC registered
• Have had an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) (formerly Criminal Records Bureau) check within the last five years
• Following the policy of preventative health and work according to published guidance from the GMC
• Ensuring clinicians have evidence of up-to-date Continual Professional Development in line with the GMC standards

Entering into an agreement with GP Link

How do I register to be on the GP link network of preferred suppliers?

If your practice meets the above criteria simply fill in our on-line registration form by clicking the 'Next' button at the bottom. Once you have filled in the online registration form we will confirm your registration via email within five working days and you can look forward to an increased number of patients through our GP Link network. It is very easy to implement and we have a helpline number for practices to call if they have any problems the first time they treat a patient from the GP Link network.

Important Information

If you application is successful you will receive a confirmation email. This will contain your completed application and GP Link terms and condition. Please note that this information, together with the standard terms and conditions, will form the basis of your agreement with GP Link. It will be assumed that you have satisfied yourself as to the extent of your obligations under these terms.

Once the application has been authorised you will receive a confirmation email of it being successful and will be given a username and password to start processing policyholders.

Confidentiality agreement

The information you provide will be treated in commercial confidence. Some of the information will be shared with GP Link members including policyholders such as opening times, services offered etc. You have the opportunity to accept or decline this as you complete the application form.
We will share information that is commercially sensitive with you during this process and all copyright is reserved by GP Link. Any discussions between us relating to this questionnaire will also be in commercial confidence.

Please Confirm that the medical practice and doctors within the medical practice are:

• Registered with the General Medical Council
• Listed on the GP register
• CQC compliant
• Have no outstanding investigations outstanding from CQC, GMC and Clinical Commissioning groups
• Have adequate and appropriate indemnity arrangements in place
• Have access to training and evidence of up-to-date Continual Professional Development in line with the GMC standard for Continuing Professional Development
• Have evidence of an up-to-date DBS check
